I don't know if one can understand what I'm asking by the word choice in my question so i'll try to clarify:

I've seen some cars (very few, albeit) where the car doors, when opened, do not go outwards, like most standard car doors, but move up, towards the sky, you know.

What is this called, or what are the car doors called?

If you need a picture, the new Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster has these kind of doors.

Gullwing/Lambo door kits, they cost around $1,000 if not a little more, depending on your cars make/model.
