sea urchins correspond with the element of water wich deals with love and emotion. At any rate sea urchins or any other creature on earth could most certainly give you luck if you believe it enough. This sounds like the story of a young boy or girl with his or her lucky sea urchin!

My only experience with sea urchins was when I lived in Jamaica, a bunch of people got stung by them, we were four hours from a hospital, and people had to pee on the stings, which for some reason treats it.

I don't know about luck but the ones I know about are very tasty. The fingers inside that look kind of orangy are the edible part. It is their roe. It tastes like watermelon and strawberry with a hint of lemon. If you cook it it is just a waste. All it tastes like is scrambled eggs.

I don't know but my family eats them raw with lemon.
