PUK stands for PIN Unlock Key. This number can only be obtained by the Service Provider that issued the SIM Card. The name of the service provider should be printed on the actual SIM Card. You'd want to contact the customer service department of that company, and request the PUK Code (Pin Unlock Key Code) for the SIM Card. They will likely ask you for the 20-digit ICCID number that is printed on the SIM card, as well as your telephone and/or account number with them. if you do not have an account with the service provider, it is unlikely that they will provide you with the code. The PUK Code is a security measure put in place by the company, designed to protect your SIM against lost/theft and/or unauthorized usage.
