i told another friend about it and she said "what's my mom gonna think... she's gonna think i have stupid friends." that doesn't really make me want to not dye it but it bothers me that she doesn't just think that her mom will think it's stupid but that she thinks it stupid. shout i drop her or drop it?

I don't think it's a one or the other thing. I'm sure your friend will still love you even if she thinks your hair looks stupid. She just might not want you going anywhere near her mother until it comes out.
Even so, there will be PLENTY of people out there who will think dying your hair like that is stupid, and will think you're an idiot for doing it. So if you're worried about that just don't do it at all.

You are never going to be able to please anybody. Plus, people have the right to agree or disagree with you. Its your choice to care or not. I say, examine your real reasons for wanting to dye your hair. If you still want to do it, then go for it. Be true to yourself as long as you arent hurting anyone or breaking the law. Your friends mom and your friend can just get over it. But if you are dying your hair for attention, then you are a tool.

i think you should drop it. I wouldnt recommend you doing that. first of all its not healthy for your hair. And second, what are you going to try to prove by doing that? Unfortunally people dont respect people that do those type of things, its cruel but its the real world. I would think about it really good and see if its really worth it..
