With all the news that has come out about George Walker Bush's illegal use of wire-tapping on American citizens, and the fact that he condones torture, and the fact that he took America to war on nothing but a pack of lies, and the fact that he covered up the fact that one of his cronies outed Valerie Plame's cover with the CIA (A felony) - shouldn't he and all concerned be impeached and then banned from ever entering politics again?

BUSH IS A war crimal--War crimes are divided into two broad categories. The first are called crimes against peace. Crimes against peace include the planning, preparation, or initiation of a war of aggression. In other words one country cannot make aggressive war against another country. Nor can a country settle a dispute by war; it must always, and in good faith, negotiate a settlement. The second category are what we can call crimes against humanity; I am including here crimes against civilians and soldiers. These are violations of the rules as to the means and manner by which war is to be conducted once begun. These include the following prohibitions: killing of civilians, indiscriminate bombing, the use of certain types of weapons, killing of defenseless soldiers, ill treatment of POWs and attacks on non-military targets.
Any violation of these two sets of laws is a war crime; if the violations are done on purpose, recklessly or knowingly, they are considered very serious and called grave breaches; Nazis and Japanese following World War II were hanged for such grave breaches.
First, I want to discuss crimes against peace and give you some sense of its application here. This prohibition is embodied in the Charter of the United Nations, the Nuremberg Charter, which is the law under which the Nazis were tried, and a treaty called the Kellogg-Briand pact. As the Nuremberg Charter defines,
Crimes against peace:
Planning, preparation, initiation or waging of a war of aggression or a war in violation of international treaties, agreements or assurances;
Participation in a common plan or conspiracy for the accomplishment of any of the acts mentioned under (i).

Wow are you misinformed...Let's start with the very beginning and go from there:

Illegal use of wire tapping...well that would insinuate that he was breaking the law...well he wasn't, because the law states that the feds can tap under the terms in which they are tapping...the issue is, should that process be made illegal. Even still I could stick a radio antenna up in the air and capture all sorts of communication, encrypted or not, that isn't illegal at all, do you suppose the feds could do the same?

Condones torture, well, no he doesn't, he condones use of interrogation techniques some find objectionable, however all of those techniques are completely OK with the Geneva convention, which is what the world community recognizes, again, bad information from what ever your source is.

Took America to war with a pack of lies. You must be forgetting 9/11, and all other terrorist activities preceding and following it. Well that's OK, I guess I can understand how anyone would want to block out such a painful memory. Well let me refresh your memory of the oath he and the allies took after that day, America and her allies will take down all terrorist organizations, and any country or government who won't stop providing aid to those organizations.

As for the Plames, I thought that whole "conspiracy" was finally to be determined at no fault of the administration. But then again I could be wrong about that one, but so far you are 0 for 2, so I can't see how number 3 could be much more accurate.

If you want to talk about felony charges, let's bring up your favorite President Bill Clinton, who flat out commited perjury, in public, that too is a felonious implication, one which has substatial proof, unlike your previous accusations.

Have you ever wondered what good things could have come from the Bush Presidency if he had been given half a chance?

Three independent investigations -- every half-pulled, dimpled chad and poke on the paper counted, and Pres. Bush won -- small margin, but he won. Don't you think if they had found a discrepancy it would have been printed in 4" letters on page one on every newspaper in the country?

I would like to see them throw this type hissy fit after losing a big hand at poker.

Re: Valerie Plame - you should know by now that Dick Chency, Karl Rove, and Pres. Bush had nothing to do with her so-called outing. For three years we had daily barrages of flap to the effect that Dick Cheney should resign, Karl Rove should be fired .. yada, yada, yada. When it was finally, after 3 years, learned that it was Dick Armitage who mentioned that Joe Wilson's wife worked at the CIA, where was it? A few paragraphs on page 6 of our newspaper. Also disappointing is the fact that he and Colin Powel knew he was the source of Robert Nowak's column and kept quiet.

You would do well to diversify your news sources.

No. Wire tapping the terrorists is a good idea. Torture for the ones that would rather cut off our heads is an even better idea. Going to war when we thought Saddam had WMD was a good idea. Oh, and Valerie Plame has her husband to blame. Even the lib press agrees. Geez people. You disagree with someone's politics and you think he should be impeached. It's not like he had sex in the oval office or something.

What lies? The war was based on the same Intel that Clinton, Kerry, Gore, Kennedy and the rest of the left had and agreed with.

Wire tapping was done in compliance with existing laws

Torture.....that is a broad term but if whopping some towel heads butt is going to save an Americans life. DO IT.

You Lib's have no idea of truth or the constutional guidlines for impeachment.

No. And if you want to believe everything the liberal media wants to spew out without checking it out then you'll be misinformed the rest of your life. Tap into Cliff Kincaid's Accuracy in the Media on the Internet and you'll learn a thing or 2. Besides we are at war and if we didn't impeach Clinton for his endless lies we shouldn't Bush!

It won't happen now...(if ever) too soon after the Clinton debacle that took so much time and energy away from the business of government and the mid east crisis and over what? It was a Republican thing and they are out to save themselves at all cost. It would take till the next election anyway and then he'll be gone.

All you commislamic radicals should direct all that anger and animosity towards our enemy instead of old GW. After being on this web site for several weeks, I have seen enough to know that "getting George Bush" is more important to you pathetic radicals than us winning in Iraq and getting out. I can only pity you with all the hatred. I just do not know what GW has done to cause this hate vendetta against him unless it was win those elections.By now, you all, regardless of how dumb you are, have to know that all these accusations in this question are all lies. That makes this questioner a liar. I suppose the questioner is just trying to keep the hate going.
