to totally eliminate the number of nuclear weapons-- and all other weapons of war?

What could truely reduce the number. Or at least the use of them.

yes ,some one some day will invent something that will null the nuke threat ..............man is moving faster then most people realise

As long as there are people, there will be weapons, history has proved that. History has also proved that weapons get better (or worse depending on how you look at it) at technology advances, so perhaps we will get rid of nuclear weapons BUT the catch will be they will be replaced with something even more horrific (if you can imagine that).

It's not impossible but it's improbable.
Give every country a nuke and we'll have MADD (mutally assured distruction) in the neighborhood. If two neighbors go at it you'll have two less nukes in the world.
