Yes there is a way to change your ip, if you have a moddem look on the back of it and you should see a lil pin size hole, hold that button for atleast 30 seconds and it should re-start, after u did that go to start and look for RUN at the RUN program type ipconfig and it should be selft explanatory from there...

It all depends. You are assigned an IP address by your ISP (internet service provider) so it's really up to them. Most companies give you a dynamic IP that changes every so often on its own. But some will give you an assigned static IP that always stays the same.

If you feel your IP has been compromised or you're being attacked, you can call your ISP and ask to be reassigned, but there's no way on your end to force this, no.

Yes. Start button> My network places>veiw network connection>
choose the connection that you want to change the IP.
Right click the connection>properties>intertenet Protocol(TCP/IP)>click properties and make your changes there.

Yes, how depends entirely on you. I could have helped more - if you gave details... you know, silly things like where you're getting the IP from - your cable company, your office, you DSL company, dialup, WHERE?!?!?!

Probably, the best way is to change your router or the network card if you don't have a router.

If your ISP uses DHCP to provide you with IP address, you will get new one each time you connect to Internet. If you have static IP, contact your ISP to change it.

Shut down your computer, and then unplug the modem for 72 hours...then plug the modem back in and then turn on your computer...the ip address should be different.
