the 85 gm cars didn't have 350 trans they had 700R4 trans if you want a 350 trans on yours, your going to have to get a different cross member and tail shaft for the trans so the torque arm can be bolted to it.

Should be a shelf item at a good Trans Shop.........should also
be readily available at most Salvage Yards...Look and Smell the
Fluid on a used unit, pull the pan......any shiny stuff or shavings
are a no no.....
