All I can suggest is that you carefully write down exactly what you recall of the incident, including statements or comments made, body language of the perpetrator, and most importantly the dates and times this occurred. Make sure you are accurate in what you write down.
Then write down the steps that you took in reporting the incident, including who you talked to, the dates and times and what you were advised to do by the Human Resources Department. Make sure you keep a copy of your employee handbook so you can show that you followed the appropriate sexual harrassment policy in the handbook. This will be very important in this case to include a copy of this.
Finally did they give you any termination paperwork? Did you go into a meeting where they told you that you were terminated? Make sure you have copies of any documentation you were given. Also if the termination was only verbal, make sure you document this.
One key issue, do you have any copies of your official performance appraisals? Make sure you have a copy of those, especially if you signed the appraisal forms.
Your next step is to contact the State Department of Labor with your findings and make a statement. Go to your state's website and search for the Department of Labor for your state for the address. They will need all of this documentation and possibly some other items.
They can tell you whether you have a valid claim for compensation, but that would be your first step.

So you ratted someone out over something that had nothing to do with you, got fired for sticking your nose into someone else's business when you were supposed to be working, and now you want to make money off of it? What a holier-than-thou capitalizing every other word prick you must be. Next time keep your f*cking mouth shut and let the offended party do their own talking and only speak when your opinion is requested. And stop trying to make someone else pay for the trouble your big mouth got you into. That just has a ripple effect that raises prices for everyone else.

Talk to an atty. If you can prove your allegations, you'll likely receive some sort of settlement but don't count on a monumental amount unless this is high profile. Also, your atty will get a substantial amt.

Can you prove that you were fired for that reason? If so, contact a local employment law attorney for a further consultation.

I don't know who you worked for, but if you were a federal employee, you may have some recourse under the Whistleblower Protection Act.

It probably depends on your gender and the gender of the perp.
I was the victim of orientation discrimination. My boss actually told me that he was promoting someone else because he was gay and I was not. I went to a civil rights lawyer who basically told me that I would not have a case.

Have you contacted the Board of Labor in your state? If not, call and ask what their procedure is. In the meantime, make an appointment with a civil lawyer and ask if you have a case for
wrongful termination.

You have the right to sue, that's for sure. But be warned that not all legal suits end up justly. Many times the only people that make any money are the lawyers themselves.

Can you prove that was why you were fired, why do they say you were fired?
I doubt your terminatin notice says reported sex harrassment.
This is be the issue, proving your case, who in mangement will testify for you, what documents from thier files do you have to prove your case.
They will most likely show some other cause ????

So the company can go under? Then all the other employees can be out of a job. Selfish. Pick your battles in life.
Swallow your pride and find a new job.
