RON LEFLORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
IT WAS NOT RICKY HENDERSON HE NEVER LED THE NL IN STOLEN BASES

Ricky Henderson never was that big of a stolen base leader in the NL with 37 being his highest single season total in the NL in 1999 . (even though he did get 66 the year before to lead the AL). He only stole 8 more in 61 more games in the NL. Played between the Mets in 2000 and Dodgers with 2003

The Answer again IS Ron LeFlore in 1978 with the Detriot Tigers (68sb's) and in 1980 when he stole 97 bases withe the team formely known as the Montreal Expos. 1980 would be the last year he would play everyday, and the last time until 1991 that someone not name Tim Rains or Vince Coleman won the Stolen Base Crown in the NL. (Similar Streak in the AL with Rickey Henderson). LeFlore would retire with 455 steals.
