How can you get the smell of mildew out of clothes?

I soak mine in laundry detergent and oxi-clean and then use downy in the rinse and bounce dryer sheets.

Let the clothes soak in a mixture of baking soda and water. Then wash them as usual.

Wash them with Borax, it's available in the laundry/detergent section of any store

wash them in woolite , dry them and put them in your dresser drawer with a few fabric softner sheet's and they wil come out smelling fresh for weeks to come.
