There is still such a thing called a VCR/DVR/etc.They can record it from the t.v but are not allowed to d/l/share it online with others? That doesn't make sense! Are they afraid people will not buy the seasons in the future because they already have recorded the shows?

Go back & read 20 years of arguments about the use of cassette records - same deal, only more so.

BTW - getting downloaded TV Shows, means the advertisers can't get in to your lounge - and advertisers pay for programs.

It is legal to dl tv shows. My Sony puter came with the software and records what ever I tell it too. I also put them on CD for my husband to watch when he's over seas. It is however illegal to profit from it
