Headaches are one of the most common discomforts of pregnancy. Especially in the first trimester, headaches may occur more frequently than usual. Some common causes of headaches in pregnancy include:

Changes in hormones
Tiredness, including lack of sleep
Changes in blood circulation
Low blood sugar (hypoglycemia)
Dehydration (not drinking enough water)
Stress from upcoming family changes
Caffeine withdrawal

I know others have told you it was normal-- I just wanted to offer you some more reasons as to why these headaches are occuring during your pregnancy. Also I thought you might feel a little better having a source. Please see the link below if you have any other questions dealing with the headaches. I hope that helped even more :). Good luck sweetie and congrats!!

Yes, I got headaches followed by dizziness and my doctor told me to drink a great big glass of water as soon as I woke up and to carry water with me throughout the day. My headaches actually went away and they felt like migraines. I thought it was going to be a horrible 9 months if I kept getting them too.

Headaches yeah I had a headache almost every other day while i was pregnant with my daughter. Thank god for tylenol. You should ask the obgyn about the dizziness though that could be something else.

Yes, it very well can. Since you are sharing everything with the baby, your hormones are going crazy. You will feel very different most of the pregnancy, but don't worry, it will pass and a high percent of women do have this while pregnant. So it's not unnatural or anything.

You really should discuss this with your doctor. It may be normal for some, but could also be a sign of high blood pressure, or low blood sugar.
Better to be safe than sorry, and let your OB know whats going on.

Yes it can because of all the hormonal changes. You can try eating small meals, more often. It helps with the headaches, and morning sickness.

I am pregnant with my third child and the doctor always asks me if I have headaches. Tell your doctor. They will probably suggest drinking more water or to rest more.
