I have!
Last August.
I wont go to details here but I will paste a link where you can go and see where my "Luxury Place" was for 2 nights (couldn't afford more..lol).
The nice thing is that this place is so near to home.
Even if I dont go there as a guest I can always go there and "love" the "air" , the "sea" , and the ancient "spirits" along with the glory of God. Never in your life have you experienced a more glorious sunset. ANYWHERE.Back in the eve of Janurary 31 1999, if you had watched the sunrises around the world.....Cape Sounio was one of them.
I agree with misschat...Luxury doesnt only come in commercial packages. Its the luxury that we carry inside us, for us and for those we love.

when I go on trips with hubby with no kids,,,O ya he goes way out to make sure that all the bases are covered.. From the fresh flowers in the room to the tub being hot and full of bubbles when we get there..Chocolates strawberries in frig,,
Rose peddles on the floor and room service with a full staff 24/7.
Its not so much the luxury but the time put into all the things I love....
P.S. Maybe once every 5 years...lol
Good night and good bye.........

Only in my wildest dreams! With 5 kids, going to school full time, working part time, my only luxury is dropping my kids off and hitting the local bar for some TEQUILA and dancing, then coming home to sleep it off with no little runts to WAKE me up at 6 am!

to what extend? How does one compare luxury? luxury as in Art collection? Designer wares? Exceptional hotels? Services? Mansions? Or married to a tycoon?
???? Attained an awesome nights' sleep!

Yes I have, my mom and I went to a day spa for a day of pampering and it was sooooooooooooo wonderful. We were treated like royalty all day and had the most wonderful time. Pedicure, 1 hour massage, gourmet lunch, hair shampooed, cut and styled. It was so wonderful (and very expensive) but really worth it!
