Not that Im not excited about the new system, but it leads me to a few questions. How will the new controler interface with games for the game cube? Will there be enough plugs for multiplayer games? What if you are an older gamer like me that enjoys the old fashon two handed joystick, can we buy one for the wii?

I can answer all of these questions:

1) The Wii has 4 ports for GC controllers and 2 slots for GC memory cards both which are located under a long flag on the top (when standing) or on the right (when lying down) of the console itself.

2) There isn't any plugs on the Wii for the Wii-motes. You open the front flap and use the Synchro button to sychronize the controllers (1-4) for just the Wii-Motes only, not the GC controllers.

3) You can purchase a virtual console controller which developers have the option of using in Wii games. You will use this for the Virtual Console games you purchase from the Wii Shop channel. You will be using the regular Wii-Mote more than the virtual console controller for Wii games.

u can only use a gamecube controller or the older SNES controller.

I was thinking they should of made a double analog stick controller for the wii since they would work better in cames u need to walk in! seriously how r u suppose to walk with a controller with no analog sticks?

and if anyone says u move ur arms up and down how r u suppose to aim then it just doesn't work, it only works in mini games.

Yes. I've seen one that looks an awful lot like the SNES controller but it's wireless as well. As for the joystick, I doubt we'll ever see one of those again.

Yes! I have seen one that resembles the SNES controller, except for the fact that it can be wireless. They will make more as they are needed. Look forward to that for sure :)
