well duh i know his father was president...i wasn't born yesterday. but his father was George H.W. Bush and his son is just George W. Bush

He is. George W. Bush Junior. The first George Bush was the president a while before Clinton.

Maybe because Junior makes him sound less distinguished, and these people have always had an irrational level of hatred for him.

As for the ignorant folks saying "its cuz he is junior STUPID", there is a difference between George Herbert Walker Bush and George Walker Bush. They aren't the same names.

He is a junior, his father's name was also George Bush. George W. uses the W to distinguish himself from his father.

We also call him Dubbaya and he is not a Dubbaya either. You might not realize this, but his father is also named George. so, in order to differentiate him from his father, well, you know.
