it wasn't a massacre, he only killed two people, and it wasn't with a chainsaw, it was with a little jigsaw, the type used to make jigsaw puzzles that old people do in there carehomes, if anything, he had more of an obsession with guns

In a couple of weeks ( I think) Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning will be realeased in theaters. So I suggest we all go watch that to see if there was a chainsaw involved. But I do think there was at least five people in it, if not including the guy's own family.

You need to go rent the 1974 version. Everybody loses.
Claim: The film The Texas Chainsaw Massacre was based on a true story.
Status: Sort of.
Read snopes.com Urban Legends. Depends on how you interpret "based on a true story".

Actually the REAL story was about 5 teenagers got stuck on a road and asked for help, and hence the family had a son who killed, tortured them with a chainsaw and many gruesome other ordeals. Yes he killed all of them except 1 and it is a massacre because many many more famalies that were stuck out on the road was murdered.

2 issues happen at the same time as they make action picture sequels that make no experience. the first is using the words "the initiating" In all honesty, moviegoers do not favor to understand each little thing about how the characters were given to be how they are. What video clips that flow again do is take existence from the charcaters. there is no longer a secret about the charcater that you could not undersatnd. And, also, at the same time as they flow again and clarify issues, they commonly screw it up. the 2d element is using the words "the superb financial disaster" or as in XMen "The very last Stand" Why do moviemakers insist upon employing those taglines at the same time as they retain in mind that there'll be yet another financial disaster contained in the installment. lots of the time, the subsequent sequel is followed through "The go back" it truly is so idiotic.

Must be a lame excuse of a re-make...in the original movie "Leatherface" cut people up with a chainsaw. Worse still, it was based on a true story.
