i shave myself with hair condition because it makes the hair "softer" then i shave from side to side taking my time...you can't really shave some parts of your body(ie...private spots) up or down cuz that would hurt too much and you get ingrown hair which causes the razor bumps...then you could put a warm cloth on it so the pores open and you don't get ingrown hair...or if you don't have enough time for that you could put baby powder on it....

The Coochy brand shave gel is great for preventing bumps. It's really just expensive hair conditioner. You can also just use hair conditioner to shave with.
To get rid of them after shaving, spray on a little salt water. Mix a cup of warm water and a teaspoon of sea salt. Pour into a spray bottle. It should clear them up. If you're going to the beach, and the bumps are on the bikini line - get to the beach a little early, and get in the water for a few minutes. This works on all shaving bumps.

The Mach 3 is the perfect razor made. Shave with shaving cream, no longer cleansing soap. there's a product said as no extra Bumps, which claims to reduce the bumps, yet i have not tried it. Use toddler powder to maintain the area dry, and that can help.

Use baby powder if you already have razor burn to soothe it. To prevent the razor burn or bumps or any redness caused by shaving, use Soypete's shaving oil. I love mine and I never have any of those problems. It is fairly inexpensive and smells Delicious! Plus I use his lotion bars as well and I have such soft skin because of it! My friends and I are hooked on Soypete!

Make sure you use a new razor. Dull razors or frequently used razors are like saber tooth tigers. Change the blade and use baby powder afterwards in sensitive areas.

Use good shaving gel and also right after you shave use baby powder on the area-- seems odd but it really does work (for me at least!)

If you find the cure for this, please let me know, cause I have been fighting this forever. I did go to an adult store and buy something called COOCHIE CREAM, after someone on here recommended it. I just used it for the first time tonight, so I don't know the results yet. But good luck!
