I mean, talking about the size too. All the other companies are either MB or 1G....Why can't some other company crack open the baby and create their own design to it?

Creative, Sandisk, Iriver have very cool mp3 players. Search online for [Zen V plus] [Zen Vision:M] [Zen Micro photo (pretty old, though] [Zen Neoon 2 (not out yet] [Sandisk Sansa something] [Iriver Clix], you'll see wat I mean. They're all Ipod killers, and can really kill Ipod Nano and Ipod Video. I love the Zen V plus, can store as much as the Ipod Nano and about its size (shaped different, though). And the Zen Vision:M is the only worthy competitor of the Ipod Video. It can play even more formats than the Video and you can load videos on it easier than with iTunes(which is pretty crappy). The Iriver Clix has the most amazing screen for its price. Check them all out.
Note: All of them ranges from 1Gb to 30Gb. U're so wrong!

Theres a great style of MP3 gamers that blow ipods out of the water! like the zunes? wonderful. yet, now they have the ipod touch, Which, ok, is exceptionally candy... yet they have produce different manufacturers with virtually an identical stuff.. Because not everyone has 10,000 songs to put on a mp3 player. And their is good mp3 players out their just look.

ok listen. there are better companies out there. with better looking players too. sure not as sleek but look differdent and beautiful at the same time. creative labs makes better mp 3players than apple does. they just dont advertise as much. but they truely are better than apple. for one, they are a sound tech company and well they do make the best speakers and soun dcards.

becuase they cant make a mp3 player better than the ipod. i hate how every one says they suck. they work great! and they have really cool features and the thing i like is that almost all of them are in color

There are hundreds of other devices that technically much better than the ipod. Ipods are just a fashion statement, not the most advanced.
