yes , as long as you still feed it and do regular water changes. the bamboo shouldn't be a problem but watch out, if the bamboo rots in the water, it can release nitrates and other stuff. if this happens, just take it out and change 25%of the water

yes a betta can survive in a bowl with bamboo in it. However the bamboo does not provide food, water, or nutrients to the fish. You must change the water every week, feed the betta everyday (except for the fasting day), and care for him well. But keep an eye on his fins. The plant roots may tear them. But yes he can survive and be happy as long as he has enough space and all of the aformentioned things. Good luck!

I don't know about the bamboo but I have had 3 Betta fish and they lived between 2 to 3 years in a bowl with marbles.

Yes, but realize that the bamboo (or any type of plant) doesn't provide food or clean the water.

Whoever reported that (untreated) faucet water could be superb yet ingesting water could be "the worst" quite would not understand their data. The chlorine and extra chemical ingredients in faucet water will kill fish. purchase some chlorine-removing drops from a puppy shop and persist with the instructions on the equipment to handle faucet water. Or use ingesting or distilled water. in my opinion, i exploit bottled water for my fish, yet chlorine drops are probable extra value-effective in the long-term.
