I'm American and I think Australians are cool. I like your accents, and I think it would be awesome to visit Australia.

What Americans think of Australians?
1. When Aussies travel in Europe, they don't fool around, they take 1-2 years off. Way to go! but many Americans would find it irresponsible.
2. Americans know that the Aussies are hated by New Zealanders, especially when it comes to rugby. Despite the lies we hear, we know you don't suck at rugby.
3. In general, Australians have a pedal-to-the-metal frame of mind.
4. Australians are direct and speak their mind.
5. INXS, Elle McPherson, 1/2 of Mel Gibson, Steve Irwin, Mark Viduka.
6. Didn't suck at the World Cup like the US did.
7. Surf crowd is gullible to LA bs regarding the Great Kahuna.
8. Lotsa pretty girls. Can't speak for the guys.

Just as I love Australians, their way of life, and their culture. Anybody with enough arrogance to diss Australia or America openly is going to face a heck of an angry crowd.

Australians are my absolute favorite people in the world and I hope to visit there someday. I think they're less judgemental and actually have a sense of humor.

I don't know as much about Australia and Australians as I should but they come off as very friendly people.....and from what I've seen you guys have the most beautiful beaches!

I don't know anything about the people. I have always wanted to go there, but never will because I want fly. I wish you could send me some of the animals indigenous to the area.

I am an Aussie and proud of it......I like america too and have been there three times.....a great place......BUT.. there is no place like home
