Here's the deal... my son (15), is a kick *** drummer. He has a single bass and a double bass petal...BUT NOW, says he needs a 'triple'!! Now i ask, WHY. Whats the differnce? He has 3 petals, but he says a 'triple' is just better than a single and double. Is this really necessary? Or is he just being, a spoiled brat, and wanting more just for the sake of having it? Any drummers out there... have any answers? Let me know!

He has 2 bass drums.. 1 bass w/ the single petal and then the other with the double petal. He says his band mates, think if he used just one bass, but had a 'triple' petal, it would sound better and be kick ***... so thats why he wants it. All I know is, that stuff ISNT cheap. And frankly i'm tired of forking out money on drums, LOL. The kid is gonna break me!! But, i will admit, i love listening to him. He is very talented and i'm very proud of him...so i think i'm his biggest fan. I want to support him, of course. And i do.. but DAMN, drum kits arent cheap and neither is the maintenance/ up keeping. Sheeshhhhhhhh..
