The proper way to do it is to rinse after use, in fresh water after use and hang on a proper hanger you can buy at a dive shop. You can use a plastic grarbage can with fresh water and a little "stink out" ( avaliable at a dive shop). Keep the lid on the contents and that mix is good for quite some time and a large number of rinses. The suit only needs to sit in there after a short aggitation for half an hour
Don't wring out a suit after rinsing. That's the best way to shorten the life of the suit. It puts stress on seams and the material that it wasn't designed for. Hang dry only.

I always mix up some "sink the stink" in tha laundry tub and let the suit soak for a little while then drape the suit in the shade to dry. When the suit is dry I hang it in a cool dry place on a wetsuit hanger. Sink the Stink is sold at dive shops.

when i go diving you HAVE to rinse with some fresh water and soap if you want but if you dont rinse off the salt it will ruin the wet suit but then after that lay it flat on the floor to dry and put it up to hang anywhere youd like to but maybe prefebly like in a closet towards the back

hey two good answears....when we dive we lather up with baby shampoo, dont laugh it works but it serves two purposes, when you get out of the pool, lake, ocean have somebody hose you off, or get in the shower, after you take it off, rinse really really well....and dont wring it out, get yourself a divers hanger and hang someplace to drip dry, wringing it out will cause it to have major wrinkles and creases in it....not good for a dive suit...after its dry you can store it in a container making sure there are no creases in the suit...good luck
