No, but I was hired to replace someone (they were going to fire him), and the morning I showed up was the morning that they found him in his cottage, a victim of suicide. Talk about a guilt trip.

I did an interview and got hired but found out on my first day that the guy who interviewed me was fired right after he was done talking with me. He was fired for having different viewpoints apart from the rest of the leadership team- boy was that a hard summer job for me- they all kind of had it in for me from day 1 and wanted to make absolutely sure I always understood how to do things their way.

No, but at my last job we had a new manager who was two weeks old, and she had just hired a new person when she up and quit, so the new girl was a little bit in shock I think!

No, but anything is possible and the hiring and firing by employers is a crappy scene.
