I really REALLY didn't like the old ECW. I was pretty happy when it went under actually. But now that Vince is paying their bills, I thought I would give it a chance one more time, to see if it got better. I didn't, and probably won't.

To start, JR came out...nothing against the guy, but I'm tired of watching the WWE stars making appearances to boost ratings. If it was worth watching, they wouldn't need all the big name pops. The match with RVD and Hardcore Holly was OK at best. I'll give HH his credit...he took a pretty bad gash on the back and still put everything he had in the match, but it took both he and RVD almost half of the match to get their timing down. The match was really sloppy for the first half, and frankly, it almost put me to sleep.

Big show? What a joke. This guy could have been huge in the WWE and WCW, but for some reason, as soon as he's on the verge of getting put over, he turns into nothing more than a gimmick. I guess after that much time though, they almost had to send him to the "minors" of ECW and give him a belt. I don't really like Kurt Angle either, but at least he had the good sense to get off of that sinking ship...

The new ECW is very bad compared to the old ECW. The old ECW was extreme, it was action packed, it had high flying moves, it had chairs, ladders, tables, barb wire, anything you could imagine it had. Tons of tables stacked up to have a man thrown through all of them, now THAT was ECW! Now the new ECW what does that have? Matches with disqualifications? "Extreme rules matches" with no more than a chair being used? This is not Extreme Championship Wrestling, this is WWE part 3.

i really belive that ecw does suck and try to get the fans that thought it was going to be like the old ecw for those who have not seen the old ecw.and my opinon is could be true or not,but i belive that reason why kurt asked to quit the ecw is that he thought it was going to be like the old ecw and all the famous stuff that brought ecw where it was.and know that most of the ecw stars is not in the brand of ecw but in wwe,tna or unemplyed,or takeing it easy.so to answer your good,right,the best question to answer is YES ECW DOES SUCK,AND THEY SHOULD NAME IT ECWCW FACTION AND MAYBE JUST MAYBE THEY COULD BE GOOD AS WWE.
