if it says 100% silk its from silk worms. anything else it will say it's rayon or another synthetic fiber.

If it's silk, yes it's made from silkworms. Anything else is synthetic. Check the label.

If it says it is 100% silk then it has to be from silkworms. If it is synthetic then it isn't silk.

I know it sounds gross, but silk is actully made from the fibers silkworms purs out of their mouth and make their cocoons from. SO silk is silkworm's spit, but don't worry, honey is bee's spit.

the pure silk is from the thread obtained from real silkworms after they get entangled,wrapped and burnt in boiled water....how does it feel???
