To me, it seems like more and more people no wearing underwear... men, women, boys, and girls. Is it because clothes are more comfortable? Is it that we are living in a more sexual world? What is it? Where are people getting the idea to quit wearing underwear? When I was on the soccer team at my high school. I was the only one that went commando at first, but then the guys on my team saw me put on my jeans without underwear. They asked why I did it. I said I really did not need it anymore and that it is more comfortable to go without. A couple of guys started doing it.... and it caught on with the team. It is amazing how society can make underwear such a big deal. And know, my "package" never gets caught in the zipper. I do try to buy button fly when I can... like at Abercrombie and Fitch or American Eagle. The same goes with shorts. Just curious what you all think. I think that a lot of teen and college age kids like me today are less likely to need underwear.

daryavaush: During a game I wear a jock. During a light practice session, depends. I have done a few practices without underwear.

It's comfortable so I think alot of people are finding that out and are making the decision not to wear any. Everyone leads their own life and can pick whether or not to wear underwear so by all means go for it.

Hmm... I don't know how you get to that conclusion. I think that there are definitely people who go commando, I do on occasion. But I really do love my underwear, it is as much a fashion statement as every other article of clothing. I'm not sure why more people are going commando than in past times, but I do know that I will stick with wearing my underwear most of the time.

This may seem strange, but I haven't worn underwear since I was a very little baby. I started refusing to wear underwear and socks when I was about three, and haven't worn either since, and every time I am force to wear underwear (like if I'm wearing a skirt,) it always feels disgustingly uncomfortable. The cotton and other materials that socks and underwear are made of mostly feel strange to me because I have a sensory disorder in my hands and feet (which makes certain things feel disgusting to the touch,) but now that I'm used to not wearing underwear, wearing it is so strange and annoying, and I'm always fidgeting when I do. Plus, underwear is kind of useless, I mean, what IS it's purpose, again???

I agree I think more people are going commando. I think it is great. The only thing that sucks is if you ever forget to zip your clothing. I think people are doing this because they cant afford underwear these days.

My 2 exs were commandos, and I shun the undies too, unless they are part of sexy treat! But, just for the record, this is not a new trend, cause my aunt and her friend used to play is he a commando when i was a young-un, in the 70's! They thought me and my sis were to young to catch on! lol!

You mention playing soccer...I hope you at least wore an athletic support when you were on the field. Don't want you to risk accidental injury to your family jewels. ;)
