theres a panel in the main green part. its below where you put in the fluid, it opens from you pulling up on the flap and pulling out. Just take a close look, you should see it.

Below the bottle is a latch, push torward mop,pull out,and the battrey pack comes out in one peice takes 4 AA battreys.
