Hi. Oh good, another cryptic first question. Light bends as it passes through different materials. The longer wavelength rays bend at a different angle. This property is used for, for instance, to make a lens.

When a ray of light passes from one medium to another medium, it changes its path. This phenomena is known as light refraction. If a ray of light passes from rarer medium(air) to denser medium(glass) it bends towards normal and vice versa.
