Yes, unless you're on the phone (or the web, etc.) Then it's just weird.

I'm sorry that happens, but when you here somebody saying something disparaging about Blacks, calling them on it by saying "WHAT?" or "Do you have any idea what you are saying or what you are talking about? I'm offended." Don't let people disparage you or your heritage.
