Hi, I've been meeting w/ a female co-worker (from another department) on a regular basis lately. She's good looking, a little older; but nonetheless good looking. I kind of have a thing for her; but have played it professional for the obvious reasons. While we have one-on-one meetings in her office, she is friendly, but she has a hard time establishing eye contact with me for more than a few seconds. She'll look all over while speaking, but rarely make eye contact. Is this cause she likes me and is nervous, or cause she thinks I'm an ugly dog and is afraid I'll like her if she looks at me too much??? What does this mean? Only serious answers please.

I would say she is totally in to you. When a woman likes a guy and is totally attracted to him and she's not sure how he feels its tough to make eye contact cuz she's afraid of you not feeling the same way. Age shouldnt matter if she totally catches your eye and interest. Invite her for coffee or a drink after work and thats will be a total yes she likes u if she goes! Just be careful bout mixing work and romance! But different departments will make it easier! Good luck to you! When it comes to romance ALWAYS TAKE THE CHANCE! Go get her!

1- Decide how much you need your job.
2- Is she a peer or is her position one of being superior to you?
3- Is it possible to ask her out for coffee, away from work, after hours? How she responds may give you some guidance as to her feelings and/or opinion of you.
4- Do you want a closer relationship with her?
5- If yes, would you want it to develop to the point where you might need to transfer departments or leave the firm?
6- Can you comfortably continue in a professional manner, if nothing were to ever develop between you?
7- Can you answer every one of the above questions?

U really have no clue do u? LOL. It's obvious she also has a "thing" for u and is nervous. Plain and simple. I know that when I was single, when I had a crush on a guy, instead of being friendly, I get all nervous and try to avoid them. So yeah, I think she likes u too. Happy now?

I'm like that too ...If i like some guy and we end up flirting i can't make any eye contact for more then a couple of seconds ..i get all nervous , so i wouldn't think anything of it ..sounds to me like she has a thing for you and she's just nervous around you ..
If you like her ask her out, see where that takes you ..

It's hard to tell. If she's shy, then yeah, maybe she's interested. Or, yeah, maybe she thinks you're ugly. But if someone's that nervous, then probably she's interested in you.
However, she's a co-worker, so hooking up is not good.
