Some of these look like root words rather than affixes. Here are some possibilities. The whole word or context is more useful, as some roots and affixes have different origins and meanings , but similar spellings.
thesis/thet Gk. thesis a proposition
anim from L. anima "living being, soul, mind, disposition, passion, courage, anger, spirit, feeling
am Not sure.. a, by itself can be a prefix, with the letter m being part of the root word. or "ambi" can be a prefix. am , by itself is a verb as in I am confused.
flu/fluc/flux root word meaning change
greg from grex (gen. gregis) "flock, herd,"
here/hes O.E. her "in this place, where one puts himself
lateral from L. lateralis "belonging to the side
litera litera "letter, script"
luc/lum from L. lucentem, prp. of lucere "to shine"
man/manu from manu, abl. of manus "power of a master," lit. "hand"
pend/pens pend- "to hang"
pon/pos from O.Fr. poser "put, place, propose

When you run into prefixes and suffixes that you don't know, try finding some words that start with them and then also look up the root word (the word that doesn't have the unknown part). Some of the ones you have listed I would not even have thought of as prefixes. Good luck on following through on your own. It's the real way to learn.

When I read through these, I thought, these are weird prefixes and suffixes; they are not the typical ones. The best thing you can do with homework help is either speak with the instructor and/or fellow students about what you are not understanding.

Can you go back to your homework and double check the spelling you used, because it is not making any sense. When you have done that, let us know what you find and any other information you can give us.

Take a look at these sites to see if they can help you.
