what is the diffrence between laser and inkjet printer?

Different techonolgy used to do the printing. Lasers are better because the quality is better, they are generally faster, and in the long run you save money on the ink (toner on laser jets, but basically the same thing). They are more expensive, especially if you want color, and if you plan to print a lot of photos, go with an inkjet, but if you are looking for just document printing, go with laser.

The basic difference is how it gets pigment on the paper. One uses small quantities of ink to "spray paint" on the paper while the other sticks powder to the paper using static electricity and then bakes it on(laser). Laserjet is better.

Laserjet uses lasers and inkjet uses ink.

inkjet is using ink.
laser is using toner (a powder).

for:
- B&W prints-> Laser is much better.
- color photo quality low budget, low volume of prints-> inkjet photo class.
- color photo quality high end budget, high volume of prints -> full color laser.

laser printers are muich more expensive but much more quality
