I am 115 lbs, I wear a size 71/2 in shoes, and 8 in dress shoes. I have so much trouble wearing nice high heeled sandals or dress shoes that are sexy because of my wide feet. HELP!!!!! I really need help. What can I do. I find it more and more depressing each year that I get older. I see all my friends and even my sister wearing cute high heeled stilletos and I can't. The extra skin always bulges out. Please help.

You can't make your feet skinnier (unless you are overwight then you might be able to lose some weight, but in general, wide feet have to do with your bone structure). Go to http://www.zappos.com and look under their wide shoe section.

I have the same problem and I read alot of the other comments it's easy to say when it's not your feet! I have found that you just have to really do alot of searching around for shoe stores that special order some do depending on how many pairs you buy. Not only do I have wide feet their flat I have no arch, ouch! I love the sexy high heels. NINE WEST is a great store the have cute and sexy heels that come in all widths they also have a catalog. Also Lerner's of New York has a catalog with wide widths I have ordered from them for sandals,boots, and heels they are true to size and very reasonable in price. I have also heard but haven't tried them yet is Freddrick's of Hollywood also has really cute and sexy shoes in wide widths so I'm going to get their catalog and see for myself maybe you can try some of these options too! Please don't attempt to make your feet skinnier or cut them off you don't need to lose weight at 115lbs just find the right shoes make it a treasure hunt set a goal and go for it, make it fun not a task. Next time buy your shoes first then match the outfit to your shoes since shoes are harder to find that's what I do makes it a little easier and a little less stressful.One thing about having wide feet we have better balance. lol

All I can think about is the girl at the supermarket tonight that had on these boots that were about 100 years old and were ripped at the soles. I gave her $10 tip and told her it was because she did a good job, but really I hope she will be able to find some shoes for the winter.
I have cubby feet, too. And I am grand beautiful and do not worry about what comes out the side. It is all a matter of attitude and grace. Wear those heel with pride! You are beautiful and so are your feet. And when you really feel discouraged, think about the girl in the supermarket.

well, I'd like to think so. I'm almost 18 and since I was 12 I've been 6 foot tall and I've worn a size 12 shoe in men's since I was 11 and a half or so. I think it's all in how the person acts with it. If they look like they feel comfortable and confident then I think it's attractive, but then again, i'm biased. :)

don't try 2 make em skinnier, it'll never work. go 2 stores n just buy wide shoes. i wear size 1 shoes in double wide n i'm still able 2 wear the sexiest styles u can want. all u have 2 do is just look a little harder. check out catlagos, online sites, stuff like that

This isn't an answer I just wanted to say I'm glad to hear I'm not alone with this problem. I don't even want to try on half the shoes I like because of this very issue.

You do know that they make shoes and heels for women with wide feet don't you? No need to try and make your feet skinny. About the stilletos, if your legs are that chunky that you can't wear stilletos, don't. If you want to wear them badly, I'd recommend losing weight. You can't just lose weight in one particular spot. You have to do it all around.

Shoes come in all widths. Just do a search. I see extra wide shoes in the catalogs all the time.

Buy sizes with the letter W beside the number. For "wide". And get over it already. It's not like a guy will think you're hot UNTIL he gets a peek at those wide feet!
Payless has Wide sizes. Good luck!
