Try a little dish soap aroung the air intake valve. Good try with water but you would need to almost submerge the entire mattress. Try letting most of the air out of it, put it into a bath tub with about 8 inches of water. Get in with it and slowly roll up the mattress and keep the part that gets air forced into it under the water. You may need two people. The hole if not in the intake air valve will probably be on a seam.
Dish soap works better for finding air leaks because it is thicker and the bubbles stay longer for you to notice. This is the same thing you would do to check for gas leaks on your BBq when conecting the tank.

Check the frame, see if anything may have punctured the bottom or sides. Then the top. Only way to fix it is to find the leak. An air mattress repair kit will fix it up.

There's a liquid solution for finding tire leaks that's more than just soap and water--and it works! I'm lost to remember the name, but you can ask for it from your local auto parts store. Or you can ask any furniture store clerk that sells air beds (it's a common item for air bed owners).
Once found, mark it with a laundry marker and buy the applicable correct patches for air bed repairs....and you know who sells those.......

Maybe you could try coating sections with dish washing detergent (while its full of air) and watch for bubbles. I know its messy but it might work and you can't very well fit the whole thing in your bath tub to see where its coming from...unless you know someone with a backyard pool.
I wish I had a better idea, best of luck to you.

great glue on the hollow and then slightly piece of plastic decrease out of a plastic bag, baggie, over the full glue and hung on for 5 minutes will seal it. Use some water and cleansing soap to attempt it. If it bubbles with cleansing soap and water on the plastic it leaks.

you have to get the patch first, find the leak with soap and water, windex, or anything else that'll bubble.
