Eating too fast can make you feel sick, it does me. Also eating slow makes you feel full faster, so you eat less, if you want to lose weight, so ofcourse eating fast you'd eat more. Other than that I dont know any difference.

Believe it or not, eating slow can help you lose weight. How? by chewing slow you're enjoying your meal and taking in the flavor for good-old taste buds. By doing that you're chewing your food so you can digest better. And that in tern makes you full with less quantity to eat.

my mom always said to eat slow or i'd choke. I also heard that if you eat too fast, your brain doesn't recognize that it's getting the food you need and doesn't turn off the hunger signal, so you'll over eat.

Slow. well not real slow, but definately not fast. Fast causes indigestion and all kinds of gastrointestinal problems.

Eating slow gives your digestive system a chance to react to the food better. Less chance of excessive weight gain, heartburn, gas, choking, etc. And, food tastes better when you actually taste it.

You should eat slowly so your brain has a chance to register that your stomach is full. That way you won't over eat. John Tesh was just saying that this morning on his radio show, "Intelligence for Your Life."

Depends on the food, what I am doing, and if I am in a hurry or bored. I tend to eat boring food quickly, and if it is good or horrible, I eat it very slowly.

Slowly eating is absolutely needed, because eating fast may let you absorb unchewed food which interrupt your stomach. Besides, eating slowly means using your teeth more, means healthier and stronger teeth, subhan allah!
