Bought a brand name full size airbed with 2 mattresses and side supports for visiting relatives. Sleeps like a dream. We've used it several times in the last 3 months since we've had it. But in the last couple of weeks it has developed a leak. The air goes down pretty significantly during the day. We have tried listening to every square inch of the entire bed - about 4 people tried this seperately. We can hear no air escape. We put a little water on the mattress to check for bubbles, didn't work. Any ideas? Warranty's expired and we sure cannot shell out another $275. (blah!) Any ideas of what we can do? Where or how else - my hair is already in lumps all over the floor where I have pulled it out - at least, I think it's my hair. Please help...wah...wah...

mix up some disk soap and brush it on to find the bubbles for the hole then mark it with a marker then get a patch kit for plastics or vynyl on line or at the waterbed store good luck or just rub the area with a scouring pad to rough it and then use contact cement and then a pathc of similar plastic or vinyl i used this methoed on an inflatable toy for the kids

Hmm can you call the manufacture? Find out what can be done.. and How long past the warranty is it? Stores only can guarantee them for 90 days..Manufactures go for at least a yr..if it;s not to far over the 90 days then try doing an exchange for the exact one..

Well try to put soap and water and spare over everywhere. This will cause bubbles . And if u do find a hole, i reccomend using duct tape or contact paper.

submerge it in a swimming pool, then watch for bubbles. if you don't see any bubbles, cover the whole thing in tar so you'll be sure to get the leak.

Check your valve then use a soapy solution to check for leaks. Get a HVAC guy to help you. They have nifty things to check for leaks with.
