I receive them constantly, but they do not tell me I have won the lottery. Instead, they tell me about an inheritance from someone who died in a plane crash, with a news clip and everything to make it look legal. To send them my name and address so they can start the collection papers to claim the money of about 11 million dollars. They don't give up even though I have explained to them that I used to work for the Florida State House and I know many State Representatives and Congress people and police officers and politicians and I can contact the right authorities for them to be prosecuted for fraud on the internet. Do not give them any information about yourself.

I would be curious to know if the emails even come from anywhere in the remote vicinity of Nigeria. It's funny how I keep winning all these contests and lotteries that I never entered or bought tickets for.

Yes, recieved hundreds of them....you have to spam em', and if they don't stop create a new e-mail. I think some of these sites you go into sell your name to these people and they just wait to get some sucker that will believe their scam, then get some $$$.

Yeah, I used to get a couple per day, but I never opened them and so the mail slowed down. They get your e-mail address from the contests you enter, free merchandise, opinion polls , etc.

Yes. I get them all the time and not just from Nigeria - from the UK, from Kenya, from India, from everywhere. I just mark them as spam and keep hoping they'll go away.
