I can't imagine anyone really thinking they know it all. However, I have met a few people here or there that have rather large and tender egos that do believe they know more than the average bear. I'd have to say that "YES" they had stopped learning........manners and social values for one. But I would have to agree with the point that I believe you are making. Once we believe we understand all........we close our minds to other possibilities and in doing this.......we stop learning.

No matter how much we THINK we know......there will always be more. This is proven by the expansion of our world not only in technology but is so many areas. We're still growing......and we should all still be learning.

Ten - four! Diesel Wiesel! You got that right!!
I am old and I learn something new every single day. Usually MORE than one thing!

Thing is, I never seem to learn anything from those who 'know everything' but from someone just like myself, who is still learning, too!

The one who knows everything is like a catfish - all mouth and no brain....

As long as you live and exist, whether you're conscious of it or not, you ARE learning something new every second you live.

Example: I've learned it was sooo cute when my kitten, Pasha, would welcome me home by springing from nowhere onto my leg. But now--a year and grown sharper claws later--Pasha's greeting isn't much fun anymore.
