from the viewpoint of a teen:
what sort of "teen club" is this? Are there likely to be 18+ ppl there? 16+? 15+? If thats the case, I wouldnt let your 13yo kid, ESPECIALLY A DAUGHTER, go to one of these places. If theres a live band, she will probably get killed in the mosh pit.
Also, we older teens (im 16) dont want to have to watch out for a bunch of 13yo kids running around below us. We jsut want to have a good time, and unless she has some older friends that would be happy to bring her (girls who are more of the age group 15-16 for example) that you trust her with, then i dont advise it.

if you dont feel comfortable about it then i would say dont let them go.
they may get mad at you but you are doing it for thier own good, not because your are trying to be an @rse to them.
i commend the fact that you are willing to not let your children go for fear of thier safety. that is what i call responsibility
nowadays there are so many parents that just let thier children do what they want so they dont have to hear them bicker on and on about why they cant go or do this.
as for the other ones say that what if they sneak out?
just make sure to have a little alarm thing near so if they try it you will know or tell them the consequences if you were to find out they disobeyed your decision

They are too young to be going out to a club. Any parties that they go to need adult supervision. Put your foot down. If they try to sneak out punish them. You are the parent and their poor choices shouldn't change the standards you have set for them.

I do not allow my kids to go to these clubs. they are not safe. have you checked the place out? being responsible has nothing to do with it. I think going ther is just asking for trouble. if you cant decide then GO THERE CHECK IT OUT! be informed. I have raised my 4 children all responsible adults now, and now raising my husbands 3 teens. I have been there. Its tough to be the bad guy but sometimes you just have to..Its your job.

i think you should allow them to go. its because you may not be sure that they will also sneak out like you. and do u think that if you dont allow them to go, they will grow alright?
they get to know all the adult things from anywhere and better than from those places which you cant even think of.
the more u restrict, the more adulterated they will get.

you wouldn't want your kid to think you don't trust the choices they make tell them before they go that you have given them a that little voice in there head and that you trust them to make the right choices while they are there and i bet everything will be OK most kids do things that are wrong because they think no one cares or they have it in there head that they cant make good choices

Let them go, but set a curfew to leave early.
Keep in mind, you (and I) DID sneak out. Don't be too strict, or that's just what you'll get too.
