Hey!! well, this year I'm going to my first homecoming dance and I can't decide what dress to wear... I would appreciate if you can give me some tips about the following:
-Dress: short or long? what colors are adecuate for Fall?
-Hair: simple or something fancy? curls or straight? accessories?
-Jewerly: just a few simple things or what?
-Is it ok to go on a limo or is it too fancy for the homecoming?
If you have some extra tips they are more than welcomed!

Dress: Knee to mid calf length. Longer dresses are reserved for the homecoming queens and proms. Most girls end up in black, white, or red, try a different color to stand out. If you want seasonal colors, try deeper tones, like burgundy, navy, plum, or any of the jewel tones, i.e. sapphire, amethyst, garnet, amber, emerald....
Hair: Simple and elegant. Going too fancy usually means a lot of work, and a higher chance of the style falling. Try a half-and-half where you pull back the hair in the front and leave the back down. It looks great with curls or waves. Then use one or two simple hair accessories to hold it up, along with any bobby pins if necessary.
Jewelry: Earrings, necklace, no more than one bracelet per wirst, or two braclets on one wirst, the other bare, and one ring per hand. The jewelry should complement the dress, not overwhelm it. The focus is on you first, the dress second, and your accessories last.
I think a limo is a little much for a homecoming. Save that for the prom.
Shoes: Low to mid heels. Anything over 3" is hard to dance in, not to mention how bad your feet will hurt by the end of the night.
Makeup: Play up your eyes, not your lips. You know that you will be drinking and possibly eating, so you shouldn't have to run to the bathroom every 10 minutes to touch up a dark or bold color on your mouth. A lighter, more natural color is less obvious as it fades.
Dancing: This is not the time to try wild, new moves. Try to stick with what you know you can do. You don't want to make a fool out of yourself in front of the whole school. Unless, of course, you are confident enough not to care. If you are, then more power to you!
But above all, be yourself and have fun!

I think that the limousine is too much for the homecoming. Basically, it's just a simple dance meant for graduated students to recruit and hang out together. I would suggest a nice cocktail dress, nothing too fancy, but just a bit "dressed up" so that you look nice for evening.

Long, full skirted, with a waist, NOT hips. Also a sweetheart neckline is in. As for colours - try a dusty rose. Pull your hair onto a chignon or a french roll with a few wispy curls. Add some pearl earrings or small chandelleir earrings. Looks UBER romantic!
