If a problem arises that seems to overwhelm you, try looking at what will become of this issue 10 years from now. If it won't matter 10 years from now then don't worry about it. Doing this kind of helps you look at life on the "lighter" side....you know, don't take life so seriously! Have fun and laugh a lot!

that depression is a serious, legitimate illness. you can't see or touch it like physical afflictions, but, nevertheless, it's real, it hurts, and the suffering is horrific. what i learned is what symptoms to be looking for in myself and others AND with talk and drug therapies----THERE IS LIFE AFTER DEPRESSION.
i've learned what it really means to be losing yor mnd and cracking up. i've learned to live by a statement from my life-saving psychiatrist that reads "suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem.."

that you can't count on people to help you in life, always hang onto dreams cuz there isnt much else to hang on to, don't be too hasty to trust. always have something heavy to swing when walking the streets at night in a skirt

Treat people the way you want to be treated. Help whenever you can and listen...you never know when you may need someone to take care of you and listen to you.
