The Lennon/McCartney song writing team was genius.

Separately, they were good. But together they were amazing and wonderful.

If Yoko Ono hadn't been with John Lennon, squealing and whining in the background of all his songs, it would have been much better.

John Lennon was a great musician and the Beatles were a great Band, I know I haven't answered the question,because I don't think anybody can.I grew up on the Beatles and I still listen to there Music today.

Back to the real question, I do believe I thought he was more creative as a team, with the beatles.

definetly w/ the beatles i mean c'mon the beatles were one of the greatest band in the world and until they broke up they worked together well
