bit of a confusion here.....The Vikings were people that lived pretty much during the 8th and 11th century which is part of the middle ages. The middle ages is the Time period that covers a time period of 400 -1500 AD. So you cannot make a comparison of the two. If you are asking for "how the vikings lived during the middle ages" Just do a web search...vikings middle ages.

The erroneously called vikings was actually an act of exploration and conquest by men from Norway and Sweden. At least that's what I remember from European History class. The middle age was a time frame in history. so the difference is one is an action and one is a time.
