Anyone who works with finances, do you know if an E-check can be stopped? Like a stop payment or it bounces????

Depends if you are using a recognized banking institue and if not, check on there webpage for cancelling a cheque, some non-institue require you to pay at least 16% to 75% of the amount given on the cheque, and there are others states that you must cancel at least 24hrs before the post-date cheque is supposed to be processed, and there is at least 25$ for cancellation. It does not look good if the cheque is less then 25$ just to cancel it. Please check well, before its too late.

I have paid with an echeck before and have had no problems. Just make sure it is a secure site.

if you did an echeck... then it passed....as far as stopping it...that's another story...you did it and it's automatic. you will need to go to your bank to find out if you can stop it. If you payed for something that you didn't get then your bank will probably work with you to settle it.
