They're called compression shorts. McDavid does manufacture some for NBA players, as does Under Armor, Nike, Jordan and the big basketball manufacturing companies.

They are being banned, although I don't agree with it. To me, they're no different than the head band trend or the knee high socks. They are actually helpful because they keep the muscles warm and prevent cramping.

The D-Wade shorts are called Thudd Shorts by McDavid. I have a pair and they are great. They keep your muscles warm and prevent injuries and stuff so you don't get sore when you play ball every day.

Gay! But they are banned from next year, I believe. The NBA execs don't like them. Aren't they just bicycle or yoga shorts? They certainly look stupd. But what do I know? I think cornrows and tattoos look stupid too.

They are simply another item of "flare" for a player to where. Thank god the NBA is banning them next season.
