That depends upon your local laws and what you are willing to do. In OK, you can be married by common law simply by presenting yourselves before the community as husband and wife for one night. Odd, it's not for 24 hours; it's for one night. Stay together in a motel as signed in as husband and wife. Then live together, pay bills, and present yourselves to the community as husband and wife. There will be no record of your marriage until it is challenged. If you never divorce, it might never be challenged. If you apply for spousal benefits, you might have to go to court to establish the history of your relationship. The receipt to the motel stay, a bill payed together under married names, some other such document would be presented as evidence. A child's birth certificate could be used if you are presenting yourselves as husband and wife.
EXCEPTIONS: these are for OK only. They might not apply elsewhere. They are easily challenged unless YOU keep good records. If you try to file for divorce and do not have proof of the relationship, NO DIVORCE because of NO MARRIAGE. That's common law for you.
The best thing to do is take a little time to see a judge. You get the marriage license. Wait for an available judge. Get married. It might take little more than 30 min. if the wait in line is not too long.

You can have a minister come to the house and marry you, in the presents of your family, and friends, all you need to do is have some finger food, or buy some fruit trays and vegetable trays, etc. a justice of the peace, can also marry you.

I believe the court house is the quickest unless the both of you go to a drive through chapel. It may sound crazy but its possible.
