If I make yahoo available offline, does that mean I can access my email from a site other than my home where I have high speed internet access? If not what is the best way to use the connection I currently have, at a different location?

Making Yahoo available offline simply means that a copy of the pages will be put on your HD, allowing you to view them without being connected to the internet (although they will not be updated unless you're connected).

Your Yahoo account can be accessed from any computer, not just the one you use at home.

A lot of sites have a majority of their info all on their "mainpage" so that you can more or less download that page to your computer so that you can do your research or whatever without having to actually get online. Hope this helps. Larry
