Now that I'm engaged and happy both of my exes who at the time I really liked now wish they hadn't given me up? I'm glad they did cuz now I'm happier then ever but why do you guys always realize way too late what a good thing you had??

Well guys and girls are both guilty of this .I have done it myself. You never realize how much you want something until it's gone. They realize things when it's too late because they see you with someone else and you're happy. Don't ask me why, but it's happened to guys and girls since we were little. Right now, you're the "Forbidden Fruit" of those guys life. Just like when you were little and your mom or dad told you that you COULDN'T have something--- you probably remember that at that point you wanted it even MORE just because you couldn't have it.
Or how about when little kids go over to a friends house and maybe they have an identical or close to identical toy, but want the one their friends have instead?
Guys are just like that. You need to talk to these guys and explain to them that you've been there, done that. Clearly, it didn't work, because if it did, you'd be happily engaged to THEM. And you aren't. Explain to them you care about them both, but not in the same way you used to, and you've moved on, and you suggest they do the same.

That's what ur ex's get. Just think back to what they said to you when u were together and how they treated you. It's called Karma.
Breakups would be unbearable if a woman doesn't know that he'll miss you whe you are gone. And whe he can't have you he really wants what you had back.

Well men always want what they can't have. Your ex's are selfish. They are now behaving and telling you what you want to hear so they can have that chase again. Don't let them get to you. Once you're engaged you should let go of your ex's and move on with your life with your Fiancee and forget all these other guys, they are not worth it, they're your ex's for a reason.

It's not just guys,women do it just as much.You get caught up in playing games,take your mate for granted and soon lose them.The next time you see them they are and seem happier than ever,that's when it hits them that they lost a good thing,now they want you back or now ready to stop playing games but it's to late.

that's the way it is. people panic, especially when they hear that someone is going to get married. they might not have thought about you like that in a long time, but as soon as they hear that you're off the market, they all come running. it probably has something to do with the fact that they now realize that you don't have any feelings for them anymore. everyone wants to be desired by someone.

It is human nature to want something after somebody else finds it attractive or interesting, or wants it. I would not consintrate on the good times with the otherguys but the reasons why you left. These are still the same guys, I would cut ties with the ex's if you can.

Because you don't know what you got until it's gone !! It is their loss !! If they didn't appreciate what they had when they had you, then they weren't worth having in the first place !!

Sorry to break your bubble; you cannot judge the rest of the population based upon your limited experience. Not all men are like that. People can change their minds if they are women. Sometimes with permission men can change their minds, but they have to make sure that the woman who gives them permission doesn't change hers.
