35 pennies 4 nickels 1 quarter 2 dimes
0 pennies 8 nickels 2 quarters 1 dimes
0 pennies 5 nickels 1 quarter 5 dimes
25 pennies 3 nickels 6 dimes
5 pennies 8 nickels 1 quarter 3 dimes

It's too late to think right now, but here is one: 20 pennies, 3 dimes, and 2 quarters How about 15 pennies, 3 nickels, and 7 dimes.

Just make a table. Start with a dollar and subtract a random amount of quarters. Then do the same with dimes and nickels. Eventually you will reach zero. Try it with different combos.
